Santa’s Shaped Christmas Trees app helps you choose a tree on Santa’s Shaped Christmas Tree Farm. When you have chosen a tree you can use the app to mark the location of the tree and a staff member will come to cut it down for you.
The app does not collect any personal information about you. If you choose to use the app to mark the location of your tree then the app sends the following information to staff on the Santa’s Shaped Christmas Tree farm:
your precise location when you tapped the ‘I’ve chosen my tree’ button,
a messaging token (a random identifier that can subsequently be used to send a notification to your phone)
This information is used by staff on Santa’s Shaped Christmas Trees farm to locate people who have chosen a tree and are ready for it to be cut down.
The Santa’s Shaped Christmas Trees app is developed by Stripy Sock. Engineers at Stripy Sock have access to this information so they can ensure the app is working well.
